You might recognize Jared Nickerson’s work from La Fraise, Design By Humans, his huge Behance presence, his portfolio, or the numerous tweets of inspiration I post from my Twitter account. Jared is a amazing vector illustrator that has kindly provided Vectips with an interview. Read on to see some great vector art, get some tips, and insights into Jared work.
The first time I saw artwork by Aidan Hughes, I was in the local record store (Back when you still purchased CDs) and came across an album by KMFDM. I studied the artwork. I loved the dynamic black, white and red illustrations. It was one of my first inspirations into exploring illustration. Aidan, a experienced illustrator, provided an interview for Vectips with Illustrator, style and industry insights.
Chirs Leavens is an amazing vector artist who produces most of his art, from start to finish, in Illustrator CS3. This includes all the fantastic textures and tones in his illustrations. Chris’s art incorporates absurdity, anthropomorphism, and a healthy dose of humor. Chris was kind enough to provide Vectips with an interview with insights on his style, Illustrator, and the design and illustration industry!
Below is the interview I conducted with Jeff Finley of Go Media that took place over Twitter on Wednesday, August 27 at 1:00 pm EST. Overall it was a great interview with many questions about Jeff’s thoughts and tips for designing and illustrating. It was an interesting experiment conducting the interview over Twitter and if you read the interview live, I would love to get your comments on how it went!

He has created some amazing artwork for print, web and apparel. Jeff has kindly agreed to do an interview with Vectips.
